HAMMER TIME!

In a physical battle not for the faint of heart, the Bears went down to Lancaster and made thier presence known battling from behind Franklin & Marshall for most of the game until Justin Decristofaro hit Nick Giarratano on a post  with about eight minutes left in the contest giving the Bears a 10-7 win and a 2-0 record to start the season. The Bears defense slammed the door hard on the Diplomats, dashing any thoughts of any last minute heroics as quarterback Harrison didn't have to time to change his mind much less go through his reads. Diplomat wide out Jay Ridinger probably won't remember too much of the fourth quarter as Mike Rismiller and Shane Whalen did their best "I'm Batman" commercial impression ringing Ridinger's bell. The Ursinus game plan seemed to run the ball, run the ball, pass when we need to.  Sophomore Teddy Conrad,  freshman Bryan Ellis and the Bears O-line pounded the ball all day wearing out the F&M front seven.
